Dear Sam and Peggy,
Thanks for moving and renovating our beautiful 19th century barn. Sam and his crew did a great job numbering, disassembling and reassembling the structure a half mile down the road next to our cabin. Sams ideas of using steel I-beams eliminated the center posts, making the barn safer and more open inside.
The interior stores my Kubota, implements, trailer and boat. Best of all, it features an amusement ride experience for everyone who visits. Climbing the stairs to the 10 foot high loft is only surpassed by going up another six feet of stairs and across the catwalk to the 16 foot high loft. The removable railings provide safety, while allowing us to use the lofts for storage. The siding and doors fit great, and the four-foot square traditional windows provide some nice views.
It was a pleasure dealing with both of you. I appreciate the communication via e-mail, the prompt return phone calls, the faxes with agreed upon changes, your reasonableness and genuineness. The excavator and painter were first rate. Peggy was polite, professional and precise. Qualities I expect and respect. Thank you, again, for restoring this historic structure.
